  • Door-to-door, inside pickup and delivery
  • More gentle transport
  • Rates based on dimensions and distance
  • Pickup to delivery time time frame may be 4-8 weeks

Freight Carrier (LTL)

  • LTL: Less-than-truckload carriers such as Roadway, UPS Freight, USF Reddaway
  • Standard residential delivery is outside, not inside
  • Items to be be shipped must be packaged (carton or crate) and palletized
  • Economical rates based on weight and distance
  • Delivery time up to 7 days in continental U.S.

Air Freight

  • Fastest of all the freight services
  • Best for high value, extremely fragile or time-critical shipments
  • May be cost-effective choice for lightweight items too large for UPS or Fed Ex
  • Can be, but not always more costly than small-package shippers or LTL
